Cristofori has developed the most progressive piano lessons that stay relevant for today’s music learners. We are delighted to deliver piano lessons effectively to millions of piano students over the last 43 years. 

 

Our piano lessons are uniquely structured as we offer two academically rigorous syllabuses – Classical Piano and Contemporary Piano to suit individual student affinity for the music they feel motivated to learn. Both the Classical and Contemporary piano lessons are designed to encourage our students to explore their horizons to the limit. 

The Contemporary piano under the UK Rockschool piano syllabus will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to confidently perform in the dynamic world of popular music, whether it is pop, rock, metal, blues, country, funk, latin, jazz, reggae or film & musical theatre.

Students who choose Classical Piano lessons will learn music from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic eras together with repertoire from the 20th and 21st century. The pieces sit alongside a range of scales, arpeggios and technical studies to provide a challenging and engaging syllabus for today’s learners.

Two classical piano syllabi – RSL or ABRSM are available for classical piano students (Refer to page 7 & 8 for the exams differentiations).

Our comprehensive curriculum helps students to reach the highest standards as soloists, ensemble players and teachers. Our teachers include winners of international guitar competitions. Their professional expertise covers every aspect of guitar playing techniques, as well as specialism in instruments from classical to acoustic and electric, ensuring excellent musical grounding for your pursuit of classical or contemporary pathway.

 

Our students will experience regular masterclasses and concerts by distinguished visiting artists, luthiers and composers, and have plenty of performance opportunities.

 

The School also provides newly handmade guitars in every studio, and is also the centre for Spanish handmade guitars giving students access to instruments made by today’s world’s finest luthiers.

You will develop the skills and technique you’ll need to cut it in any session or on any stage in the world of rock and pop. Students will gain a lot of experiences in performance, and playing as part of a band.
